ANALEX rpd - Metallic Wear Particle Depositor
Product Code: FG-K19026-KW
is a simple method to do debris separation and analysis.
The principle is to grade debris and deposit it radially in three concentric rings by rotational, magnetic and gravitational forces. Ferrography has three techniques:
- Analytical ferrograph (AF)
- Direct reading ferrography (DRF)
- Rotary Particle Depostion (RPD).
The instrument is faster than other recognised ferrography techniques, presenting a microscopy slide in around 6 minutes and does not suffer from interference due to carbonaceous material in the sample.
The separated debris can also be measured quantitatively by placing the substrate in an ANALEX PQ Ferrous Debris Monitor.
Features :
- Simple method for ferrous and non-ferrous metallic debris separation.
- Extremlly particle separation
- Supplied complete with a comprehensive "Guide to Wear Particle Recognition"
- The separated debris can also be measured quantitatively
