  • Sample directly from the top of the main oil supply reservoir, ensuring consistency by always sampling from the same point.
  • Maintain a consistent total quantity of oil in circulation during each sampling.
  • Thoroughly purge the sample connection until hot oil flows before collecting the sample.
  • Draw samples over several minutes into a clean container, utilizing sample bottle kits for optimal results.

Additional Sampling Guidelines

For hydraulic systems, sample from the middle of the main reservoir or system return line, exercising caution to avoid high-pressure lines.
