Real ships, real results
Optimization of Fuel Measurement at Christiania Shipping
Christiania Shipping improved fuel transparency and operational efficiency by upgrading to high-accuracy Coriolis mass flow measurement on both supply and return lines. The solution eliminated uncertainty caused by density and temperature variations, enabling precise net fuel consumption calculation. The result was reliable performance monitoring, stronger fuel cost control, and a scalable solution for fleet-wide optimization.
Uni-Tankers Documents the Impact of Optimization Initiatives
In 2011 Insatech Marine initiated a collaboration with Uni-Tankers as their advisor and component supplier. Uni-Tankers is known for their innovative approach to ship operations and their constant pursuit of optimizations, like using special paint on the hull and many other optimization projects – and the only way to get insights into the effect of these initiatives is to measure fuel consumption.
How a Leading Shipping Company Standardized Scrape Down Analysis Across All Vessels
By implementing the Parker Ferrous Wear Meter (FWM) on more than 50 vessels, a major international fleet gains the upper hand on engine health and avoids costly failures – especially related to scrape down oil contamination, lube oil analysis, and wear caused by VLSFO fuel following IMO 2020 regulations.
We work exclusively with manufacturers we trust. Every brand in our portfolio is selected for performance, reliability, and proven track record in demanding marine environments.
Insatech Marine is proud to be part of Addtech - a Swedish technology trading group listed on Nasdaq Stockholm, with over 140 subsidiary companies and operations across Northern Europe and beyond.
