Calibration of the icountLaserCM30

This equipment is calibrated according to MTD in accordance with ISO 11943: Section 9. OR according to ACFTD and calibrated against the Master PCM at the particle sizes shown within the specified limits.

Therefore, the icountLCM30 has to be re-calibrated every 12 months, where it will get the annual certification and new calibration certificate.

This is something the equipment is set-up to automatically remind you of.

As master distributor of Parker you can contact us and we will take care of the re-calibration of your LCM30.

How does the LCM30 operates?

The icountLaserCM30 is an advanced Particle Contamination Monitor (PCM) that utilizes laser-illuminated optical light extinction principles to automatically count and size individual particles suspended in a fluid. The sensor features a focused light source that is projected through oil as it moves through a flow cell. If there is any particulate contamination within the oil, it will cause a proportional change in signal on the detector.

The laser light is projected through the fluid in the flow cell, and any particulate contamination within the fluid reduces the amount of light that reaches the detector. Thus, if there is anything dirty in your liquid, it will block some of the light and the machine will measure how much was blocked.

The icountLaserCM30 reports particle sizes in micrometres (µm) and displays them as such for both ISO Medium Test Dust (MTD) calibration and Air Cleaner Fine Test Dust (ACFTD) calibration. This powerful tool offers advanced monitoring capabilities, allowing for real-time analysis of fluid contamination levels and quick detection of potential issues.
