Why pre-filtering is necessary

It is necessary to filter hydraulic fluids before use, because most new fluids (right out of the drum) contains high levels of contamination (solid particulate matter and water).

If the fluid is not polished and/or cleansed before entering the hydraulic circuit, these contaminations can significanly impact system performance and cause damage to critical component. This can lead to shorter maintenance intervals, added downtime and increased costs.

This 10MFP Series portable filtration trolley / cart from Parker is a CE certified, mobile field service maintenance tool. With this on you hand, you can ensure the performance and reliability of heavy equipment by removing free water and contaminants, that often make their way into hydraulic fluid during mixing, handling, transfer and storage.

Experience hifh-efficiency filtration and log-term dependability, which is vital to todays's hydraulic systems, with the two high-capacity ModuflowTM Plus Series filters. The first stage inlet filter (20 or 40 micron synthetic) captures larger particles, while the second stage outlet filter (2, 5, 10 or 20 micron) removes finer particles.

By installing Par-Gel elements in the outlet filter, which are made from a polymer that has a very high affinity for free water (water that is above a particular fluid’s saturation level), you can remove water.

Option:  iCountPD online particle detector

The icountPD particle detector can be mounted to the standard frame of the filter cart for enhanced monitoring of your hydraulic system (allow accurate detection of particulate when transferring oil).
