MED (Marine Equipment Directive, 2014/90/EU) - required for safety-critical equipment installed on EU-flagged vessels. For shipyards and operators fitting out or retrofitting EU-flagged vessels, MED-certified equipment is not optional - it is a compliance requirement.

Lloyd's Register Marine - type approval from one of the world's leading classification societies. Lloyd's Register approval is recognised globally and is commonly specified by owners and operators managing internationally trading vessels, regardless of flag state.

CCS (China Classification Society) - type approval recognised for vessels classed under CCS, which covers a significant share of the global newbuild market. For operators or shipyards sourcing equipment for CCS-classed vessels, CCS-approved products are required.
