Sensor element is the well-known CERTEC® measuring cell with a robust ceramic membrane, which VEGA itself has developed in their own laboratory.
Process pressure creates a capacity change in the measuring cell via the ceramic membrane, which is subsequently converted to an analog output signal.
The CERTEC® measuring cell is an oil-free measuring cell and can withstand large mechanical stresses.
